Application / Identity Data
Name, email address, phone number, educational background, and other details submitted through the application form.
Interview & Assessment Data
Notes, evaluations, and skill-level assessments recorded during the technical interview and Program.
Payment Data
Transaction ID, payment status, amount, and payment method type (e.g., UPI, card, net-banking) as returned to us by Razorpay. We do not collect or store your full card number, CVV, UPI PIN, or net-banking credentials — these are captured and processed directly and securely by Razorpay.
Program Activity Data
Homework submissions, capstone project links/repositories, attendance records, and workshop participation.
Technical / Usage Data
IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, and cookies collected automatically while you use the Website.
Communications
Emails or messages you send to our support address, and our replies.
How We Use Your Information
- To process your application and conduct the interview/selection process.
- To process payments via Razorpay and issue payment confirmations, Offer Letters, and Day 0 Tasks.
- To deliver Program content, conduct teaching meets/code reviews, and evaluate homework and capstone projects.
- To issue Certificates of Completion and communicate batch schedules, reminders, and updates.
- To respond to support queries sent to our contact email.
- To maintain records for accounting, tax, and legal compliance.
- To improve the Website and Programs, and, where you have not opted out, to showcase anonymized examples of candidate work for promotional purposes.
- To detect and prevent fraud, unauthorized payment activity, or misuse of the Website.
Payment Processing Through Razorpay
All payments on the Website are processed by Razorpay Software Private Limited ("Razorpay"), an RBI-authorized and PCI-DSS compliant payment aggregator. When you make a payment, you are redirected to or interact with Razorpay's secure checkout, and the payment details you enter are transmitted directly to Razorpay's systems.
- TechMentors receives only transaction-level confirmation data from Razorpay (such as payment status, transaction ID, amount, and masked payment instrument details) — not your full card, UPI, or bank credentials.
- Razorpay processes your payment information in accordance with its own privacy policy and applicable RBI regulations. We encourage you to review Razorpay's privacy policy at https://razorpay.com/privacy/ for details of how Razorpay handles your payment data.
- Sharing your payment details with Razorpay is necessary to complete your transaction; without this, we cannot process your Program Fee payment.
Data Storage and Security
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction, consistent with the IT Act, 2000 and applicable rules. However, no method of transmission or storage over the internet is 100% secure, we still have technical safeguards to protect your privacy.
Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this Policy, including for the duration of the Program, and thereafter as required to comply with legal, tax, accounting, or dispute-resolution obligations. Payment records may be retained for the period mandated by applicable financial regulations.

Subject to applicable law (including the DPDP Act, 2023), you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Request deletion of your personal information, subject to our legal and record-keeping obligations.
